My latest painting – Family – Acrylic on Canvas 26″ x 19″

Homeless But Not Hopeless

I came across this photo today that  I took several years ago of a homeless man on the streets of Vancouver, Canada. His sign reads: “Homeless but not helpless – Needful of a room, a job, and acknowledgement.  What a great reminder of how lucky so many of us are to have even just the basic necessities of life like food, clothing, and shelter – not to mention family and friends who are there to support us in our times of need.

The Lion: Digital Painting

This digital painting originated as a watercolour pencil drawing.  I’m planning to actually paint this in oil one of these days.

Kitten Play

I’ve been thinking about my cats lately.  They are currently in foster care back in Toronto and I miss them a great deal.  They are all grown up now, but the photo below is a favourite.

Waiting

Found this image in the depths of my hard drive of an acrylic on canvas painting I did a while back.  It’s about 12 x16 inches I think but I haven’t seen it since we started traveling. It’s currently in storage somewhere back in Toronto.

This is my second magazine bowl.  This one is a bit more sculpted than the first one.  To see the making of the first bowl, see my Daily Art Fixx article.
