Who: Wendy Campbell – Canadian artist with a background in web and graphic design and not-for profit fund raising.

What: Art – painting (acrylics these days), Drawing (Staedtler mechanical pencil), Graphic Design (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Wacom Tablet), Making stuff from other stuff (recycled things like plastic bags, old magazines, aluminum cans and plastic bottles into art ).

Where: Cambridge and Toronto Ontario Canada

Roots: I was born and raised in Toronto and have lived in the Cayman Islands, Calgary, Vancouver, Oberhausen, Germany, and Tokyo, Japan.

Education:

BA – Political Science – York University.
Advanced Web Design – Ryerson University.
Art: Books, experimentation, intuition.

My Process: Whatever comes out of my head and heart and onto the canvas/paper/computer monitor. I have some Native Canadian heritage that is often subconsciously reflected in my work.

What Else: I spend my time between Cambridge and Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my two lovely cats – Neko, and Spelunk   I also like to write – lyrics and music… but that’s another story.

I also write a blog called Daily Art Fixx.  It is my way of immersing myself in art for inspiration and education.
