Greeting Cards

A couple of stores (CH Candles and Gifts, and Top Drawer) in Cambridge are now carrying some of my handmade cards….some are prints of my artwork and others are hand painted abstracts. Below are a few examples – I really couldn’t get my camera to capture how cool they look in real life, but you get the idea.

Mural: Poser City

The background of this mural has been sitting for months but I finally started giving it a direction in the form of its working title “Poser City”. I’m roughing the characters in now and eventually it will be wall to wall people on a city scape.  This is collage and acrylic paint on canvas and is roughly 9ft by 5.5 ft in size.

CAF: Paddle Project

Paddle I painted for the Cambridge Arts Festival Silent Auction.  Nice to be painting again.

Waiting

A painting I started quite some time ago and finally got around to finishing.  Acrylic on canvas  16 x 20 inches.

The Experiment IV

The fourth painting in The Experiment series. Acrylic and ink on watercolour paper 18 x 24 inches.

The Experiment III

The third painting in The Experiment series. Acrylic and ink on watercolour paper 18 24 inches.

New Painting: The Daily Parade II

A larger version of the original Daily Parade painting. Acrylic on canvas 30 x 30 inches.

The Experiment II

The second completed painting in the Experiment series.  18 x 24 acrylic and ink on Strathmore watercolor paper.

New Painting: The Experiment

I had fun creating this drawing/painting. It started out as a bunch of random lines and swirls that I then filled in with other shapes and lines.  Pencil, black ink, acrylic ink, acrylic paint, on watercolour aquarelle – 12 x 16 inches.

New Painting: Untitled Nov. 2009

More experimentation with the palette knife.  Acrylic on canvas 9 x 12 inches. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture the true colours with my camera, so this version is not as vibrant and less turquoise than the actual piece.
