I like to play around with taking photos and all this traveling around lends itself to just such an activity. Here’s one of the Eiffel Tower taken last summer while in Paris.

I came across this photo today that  I took several years ago of a homeless man on the streets of Vancouver, Canada. His sign reads: “Homeless but not helpless – Needful of a room, a job, and acknowledgement.  What a great reminder of how lucky so many of us are to have even just the basic necessities of life like food, clothing, and shelter – not to mention family and friends who are there to support us in our times of need.

I’ve been thinking about my cats lately.  They are currently in foster care back in Toronto and I miss them a great deal.  They are all grown up now, but the photo below is a favourite.
