Not a daily habit just yet – I was maybe a bit over-ambitious with that idea. Weekly perhaps is a better goal.

I don’t usually try to interpret my own art but I think the top scribble is representative of my state of mind (or what I was feeling at the time). The female/bird figure on the right is me – the things around me represent past, present, and future – things to let go of – things to take care of – and things to get going on (sometimes a little overwhelming).

Anyone who knows me, knows that the last year of my life has been filled with upheaval, change, and new opportunities. This kind of experience lends itself to every gamut of emotion – from grief to joy. All my work of late tends to stem from where I’m at in that range.

I am a lover of art and it is my dream to promote modern artists around the world, because it is a reflection of us and keeps the human race alive. I just visited your site the Daily Art Fixx, and I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed it. It’s sites like yours that are encouraging me to endeavor in my own projects, because I am so frightened at what will be created.

I am an 18 year old girl from a very small town called Monroe,Ohio and it has been a struggle to explore what all is in this world being in such a confining environment. I hope that attending University for International Studies and English will change that.
